The Debut in 2025:

 

Debuting as Wilding Fest in 2025, the event is a outdoor festival that debuted on Sunday August 3rd 2025 at the Green Rooms Treforest, Wales, a 400 cap event promoted by Wilding Promotions as part of the venues weekend anniversary festival that took place on august 1st and 2nd..

This event strives to push the boundaries of what to expect from the Welsh GrassRoots music industry welcoming established artists from all across the UK whilst creating a artist pipeline for new acts created here in Wales to offer them opportunities to be apart of an incredible event and shining a spotlight on what the Welsh music scene has to offer.

The debut event was headlined by CHUGGABOOM and featured a diverse lineup of talent including RXPTRS, De'Lour, HAWXX, Failstate, Struggler, Edit the Tide and Embers. The festival also features two stages, with a acoustic stage running alongside the mainstage, which featured perfomances from Melody Shads, Christian Sayers and This Awakening, and Pay The Man.

This festivals exciting debut in 2025 was very positively recieved and was a big success on the day - already sparking a sense of community amongst those who attended and many fond memories and moments shared by all! thus leaving a demand to see if Wilding Fest will return in 2026.

The return in 2026

​

The event is now set to return on Sunday Aug 2nd 2026 as 'Wilding Takeover Fest' at the same location as the promotion looks to build upon the success of last years event. We are already rolling out plans to make several improvements on last years debut, including the following 3 changes:

​

1. We will be announcing the return of the festival at the start of 2026 which will open applications publicly for bands who want to apply to perform. Originally the debut festival due to factors beyond our control at the time was announced in june 2025 allowing only 2 months to plan and promote the event that happened in august. This time announcing as early as january 2026 we will gain another 5 months for event planning and promotion.

2. Along with this we will be introducing a brand new ticket structure which will offer super early bird tickets upon announcement, moving onto early birds once the lineup begins to get announced and then moving onto standard ticket prices. With this plan we hope to see a much larger turnout thanks to tickets that are reasonably priced for the early ticket buyer.

​

3. We are thrilled to announce the return of our promotions fundraising effort Alternative Against Cancer, an initiative thats been at the very heart of what we do since starting Wilding Promotions in 2024. A fundraising effort for breast cancer research via Cancer Research UK which we raised £1,934.03 across 5 grass roots music shows 2024. After resting the effort through 2025 we feel people will be excited to see this return as part of Wilding Takeover fest which we will run via an online giving page in the months leading upto the festival and will not affect how the artists on the festival get paid.

We are now open to discussions with booking agents and managers for the lineup of the upcoming Wilding Takeover fest in August and look forward to hopefully hearing from and working with you soon.
